A hospital session, Whitley Style!

OK, so before I get to these images it’s important that I fill you in on a few things.   I’ve been playing around with a camera for about ten years, give or take.  About five years ago my “principal”, after seeing a bunch of images that I’d taken, informed me that I WAS starting a business, I WAS getting a website and that I WAS GOOD ENOUGH.  That was when my love for photography turned into something I did on the side to my “job”.  Now, had I not held her to a such a high level of respect I might not have trusted her. But, this “principal” had a way of seeing your strengths where you didn’t know they existed and helping you develop them,  supporting and guiding you, and she had a way of helping you to become the educator she and YOU knew you could be while still giving you the creative freedom you needed and wanted.  I have never worked under someone as amazing as Michele, and I am blessed to have been given the opportunity to do so.  Since then, she has moved on a different roll in education, and is rocking it as only she can.  I could never express my gratitude for how she pushed me in a way only she could, and helped me to do something I never thought was this chick could do.  But, I sure can try.  Michele, I just love ya, thank you for seeing something in me and supporting me, without doubt, in so many ways.  I am so thankful that you have asked me to be a part of this special time in your life, I adore you.  Thank YOU for being YOU!
