My Bubs is 1!!!

So, I have been sitting here working on this blog post for quite some time tonight… realizing that this time last year I was waiting not so patiently for my new niece or nephew to arrive.  I remember how exciting it was, I was so honored to be in the delivery room with Auntie Lola when Baby Gideon made his entrance.  (You are about to get a little peek at that!!)  I had no idea that I would immediately love this boy in such a different way than I love any other person on this planet.  Gideon stole my heart the second he arrived.  I remember leaving my sister’s house the morning after he came home and feeling like I was going to cry because I was going to miss him so much!  I can’t imagine what it will be like one day when I have a grandchild, how can it be better than this???   I always hear my parents saying how it’s so great to have grand kids because you love them like you’re own except you get to spoil them rotten.  That’s how I feel about my Bubs… his smile lights up a room and fills my heart right up.  His laugh can bring a smile to my face no matter what my mood is.  The way he snuggles me… although much quicker now than before… just gives me butterflies from my head to my toes.  He adores my Cammie almost as much as Cam adores him… now, Josie, that’s another story 😉  This blog is just a “short” (ha!) recap of some of my favorite images with my favorite three people n the whole entire world (my own excluded, of course!).  I couldn’t help myself… I had to take a trip down memory lane a little for my G-Bubba’s 1st and best birthday yet.

Bubs, I love you all the time and every day.  You are so special, so happy, and just so amazing.  You are adored by so many so much more than you will probably ever know.  I can’t wait for all the wonderful things that I know are in store for you.  You are going to to great things, and we all can’t wait to share in it.

Ang & Josh… I love you two way too much and you are amazing parents.  I love seeing you two love Bubs, and thank you for letting me be mildly obsessed with your favorite boy in the whole entire world.  I promise to leave the crib-sharing to you two, though 😉
